Junior Company
The Smash Junior Company Program is designed for young, talented performers aged 11 and up who are passionate about musical theatre.
This program nurtures emerging performers who already have a strong foundation in singing, acting, and formal dance training. Students dive deeper into the fundamentals of musical theatre, including vocal techniques, choreography, acting skills, and stage presence.
Placement into the Junior Company is by invitation and students are considered for the Junior Company if they meet the following criteria:
A minimum of two years of experience in the Smash Rising Stars program, or one year of Rising Stars plus camp participation.
Current or previous formal dance training through Smash or an outside dance studio.
Demonstrated strong vocal skills and the ability to bring a character to life.
Flexible scheduling availability to accommodate increased rehearsals leading up to the production.
The Junior Company Program performs its own Junior production, and students also have the opportunity to appear in both the Company and Rising Stars full-scale productions, gaining even more stage experience.

SMASH Company
The SMASH Company Program is a premier musical theatre training program for advanced performers aged 16 and older.
Designed for passionate and experienced students, this year-long program offers an in-depth exploration of essential theatrical disciplines, including stage directions, improvisation, theatre vocabulary, vocal techniques, and choreography. Our goal is to equip students with the comprehensive skills needed to bring vibrant musical productions to life on stage.
Placement into the Company Program is by invitation or evaluation, ensuring that every participant is committed, experienced, and ready to grow. We seek performers who have demonstrated dedication to the arts and have extensive theatre experience and training.
We are committed to creating a nurturing, dynamic environment where young artists can excel as performers. The Company Program offers a unique opportunity to showcase talents in a full-length musical production. Whether delivering a powerful solo or moving together as part of an ensemble, students will help create a performance that is unforgettable, inspiring, and full of heart.
